TM (High
Velocity Aerial Sensor Tester):
is turbojet powered
and can carry a 25 pound payload of various electronic devices at speeds
exceeding 300 mph. Flight duration is approximately 30 minutes
depending on flight profile. Its sturdy retractable landing gear allows
operation from an 800ft paved or smooth turf runway via remote or
autonomous control.
offers a low cost method for flight
testing sensors and other electronics devices.
The HiVast platforms
are modular in construction and can be van transported with ease.
BVM-UAV builds this
all composite airframe in their Central Florida factory and can provide
systems integrating, operational training, and rapid delivery of spare
parts.

Flight Training and
Consulting

In March 2011, HiVast I
customers from AFRL in Eglin, Florida received their turbine jet
qualifications during a multiday training session with the BVM-UAV
staff.
BVM-UAV has a documented
step-by-step training syllabus that covers every aspect of operators
required to safely prepare, fly and recover a turbojet powered UAV.
The UAV pilot candidates must have previous Radio Controlled model
aircraft flying experience. They are then trained on BVM
equipment to become competent with turbojet powered vehicles.
Even though most UAV's can be
fully autonomous, there are occasions when manual pilot control is
necessary to safely recover the vehicle and payload. BVM-UAV
trained pilots can meet that challenge.
About BVM-UAV
Established in 1981, BVM Inc has
emerged as a world leader in the design, development and manufacture of
radio controlled jet model airplanes. Founder and president Bob
Violett, a former U.S. Navy Jet Carrier pilot, commercial airline pilot
and veteran of radio controlled flying, has drawn on his knowledge and
experience to develop the unparalleled BVM jet kits and accessory
product lines. This experience, product line, and capabilities are
now being applied to U.A.S. industry projects.
At BVM-UAV we work closely with our
customers to establish feasible solutions while maintaining a budget.
Our experience in sophisticated turbojet and electric jet model aircraft
results in minimized risk and expense for your project.

BVM occupies 14,000 sq. ft. in two
adjacent buildings. For a list of our equipment and capabilities
